Leslie W. Himmel is a Managing Partner of Himmel + Meringoff Properties LLC, which she formed with Stephen Meringoff in 1985. Since that time, she has become one of New York’s most active Owners/Landlords having accumulated a substantial portfolio of commercial real estate holdings valued in excess of $500 million. She has been called “the highest ranking female landlord in Manhattan’s commercial property market” by Crain’s New York Business. Himmel + Meringoff’s focus continues to be on opportunistic purchases with an emphasis on strategic repositioning of the properties.
In January 2011, Ms. Himmel received the prestigious Mendik Lifetime Leadership in Real Estate Award from the Real Estate Board of NY where she serves on the Board of Governors, for a lifetime of exceptional accomplishment in the profession and dedication to leadership in New York real estate.
